My apologies!

I apologize for the lack of a FlashCast for today. I just received my new headset for my birthday and I spend a few hours setting it up, then I had to take down my rig and transport it from the Perfect Score Labs NJ1 site and bring it to the temporary Perfect Score Labs NJ2 site. I had asked Keith to cover for me since I knew this was happening, but it seems he is still not feeling his best. But rest assured I will get up early and get one out ASAP. Night all!

Follow up from yesterday's post

As I reported yesterday, Hillary Cinton made an announcement that she will be proposing a bill to Congress in regards to the gaming industry. Well Gamespot has reported that the Gaming Industry is reacting to her announcement. Please go and read the article and let me know what you think about this by email or on the forums.

Also, I will not be doing a FlashCast today in order to allow Rich the opportunity to roll out a weekly segment later this evening. Yeah I know you are all cheering that you don't have to hear from me, but I am working on some new games and demos and tomorrow I will let you know my thoughts on them.

FlashCast No. 4 - Lots to cover today!

Hi everyone! In todays FlashCast I cover a lot of news that popped up over the past day or two. There are two links I felt I should include that I cover in the cast. The first is about Hillary Clinton proposing a bill to congress. The other is a link to the Top 10 Most Violent Video Games . I originally covered both a lot more, but the cast came out to more than thirty-eight minutes. So to save your eardrums the onslaught of my voice I trimmed it down and you can read all about them at those links.

Please send any comments to me at Diabolik@pscore.net.

Greetings from the planet Danae

Bonjour, Guten tag, Buenos Dias, Bonjourno and Good freakin' day. I'm the "special correspondent" and token female here at Perfect Score. Known to friends as various things such as "Danae," (which also happens to be the name my mother gave me and the one I prefer) "Dude Love," "Dobash," and occasionally "Niener" (don't ask), I am here to cause havoc mayhem and the occasional riot amongst friends, not to mention giving the boys a run for their money, and having a general good time doing it. Shoot me an email at mirrea@yahoo.com or mirrea@pscore.net and check out my website at danaegoodhart.com.
Cheers!
Danae

PS Watch the Show! Listen to the show! And read the freakin' blog! Post on the Forums. And stuff....or I'll have my big brother gnaw your face off! ;-)

Current events in the land of Keith

Hey guys! (waves enthusiastically)(well not really but the feeling is there) Keith here to say hi and be like WATCH OUR SHOW!!! Yes, please watch our show, it would be most appreciated. Anyway onto more awesome things (or not depending on your point of view). I have recently decided that Pantera Bread is not the only awesome place to work, I have discovered RETAIL!!! While most of the world considers retail to be a four letter word (which i don't get cause it really six letters) I have found my experience to be exceedingly fun and rewarding. It does however create some major problems, first and foremost being that I cannot have weekends off to do the podcast because I must work (which means I will be corresponding via el telephono quite a bit more often). I know that a lot of you are crying now, it's okay let it out. However this does also mean that I will be getting just a little bit more $$$ to put back into the show so that we can continue to expand and make it that much more excellent. Anyway onto the second thing (looks at notes) okay there wasn't a second thing but thats all right cause this means that I'm gonna go and work on the show right now. Peace Out everyone!!!

P.S. Don't forget to shoot me an e-mail at mcaptain32@hotmail.com or at mcaptain32@pscore.net

P.P.S. I also know that I have very original e-mails (that was sarcasm there for those who didn't catch it)

Fantasy Quidditch Official Point Listing!!

Here it is folks, the official point listing for Fantasy Quidditch!

Points will be rewarded in five different categories:

-Goals Scored by selected Chaser: 10 pts.

-Bludger hits by selected Beater: 15 pts.

-Saves by selected Keeper: 10 pts.

-Snitch caught by selected Seeker: 25 pts.

-Overall team selected wins: 20 pts.

So there you have it folks! Just as an example, let me show you guys how this works...

Let's just say you have this team:

Fantasy Team Name: "HodgePodge United"

Beaters:
George Weasley-Gryffindor
Anthony Ricket-Hufflepuff

Chasers:
Roger Davies-Ravenclaw
Katie Bell-Gryffindor
Marcus Flint-Slytherin

Keeper:
Grant Page-Ravenclaw

Seeker:
Cedric Diggory-Hufflepuff

And your weekly Pick to win Game A is...

Ravenclaw!

So, that's your team....

and Week 0's Schedule is like this:

Game A: Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw
Game B: Slytherin vs Gryffindor

Then we play a week of games that go like this:

Week 0

Game A: Hufflepuff - 70
Ravenclaw - 160

the breakdown for Game A is...

7 goals made for Hufflepuff

(2 goals made by Heidi Macavoy)

(1 goal made by Malcom Prise)

(4 goals made by Tamsen Appleby)

= 0 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... tsk tsk, no Hufflepuff Chasers.

1 goal made for Ravenclaw

(1 goal made by Roger Davies)

= 10 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... yea! you played Roger...good times!

2 Saves for Hufflepuff made by Herbert Fleet

= 0 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... Didn't play Herbert, oh wells!

5 Saves for Ravenclaw made by Grant Page

= 50 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... Yea!! Go Grant!!

2 Bludger hits for Hufflepuff

(1 hit by Maxine O’Fladdin)
(1 hit by Anthony Ricket)

= 15 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... good times for playing Anthony

0 Bludger hits for Ravenclaw

= 0 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... so no points there.

The Snitch was caught by Cho Chang for Ravenclaw

= 0 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... sorry Cedric picking people!

Ravenclaw wins!

= 20 pts. for Team "HodgePodge" ... Yea! You won the bonus points for picking the winner!!

Final Week 0 Totals:(Game A)

Team "HodgePodge" = 95pts.

...............

So there you have it, based on the picks for Team "HodgePodge", they won 95pts. in Game A

In Game B, Team "HodgePodge" might get some more points. We'll have to wait and see...

And after all this, the points get tallied, the posts get made, and a points leader will emerge! But fear not, if you're falling behind in week 0, you can maybe make it up during the following weeks!

I hope you guys can get the idea on how this works, any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at:

quidditch@pscore.net

Good luck, and we'll see ya on the pitch!
